It has been well over a year since I last wrote. Every time I write something, I always tell myself "this time I'll keep writing" but I never do. I become too busy or preoccupied in my life and what's going on around me to write about it but this time, I'd actually like to keep at it. We will see, I guess, right? :)

A lot has happened since I last wrote...

Jon proposed and it has been one of the best days of my life (and to think that it almost ended a few short weeks ago makes me so, so sad), my sister had her first child, I had a total hysterectomy, started volunteering at a dog rescue a couple times a month, I still hate my job (haha), I still haven't gone back to school (hopefully that will change by next year), Jon is so close to having a house in his name, and I'm sure a lot more that I'm forgetting. Life has been a roller coaster this year but I've learned a lot about myself and my relationship and I am forever grateful for what I have. I really am the luckiest. I have the best (future) husband even with our downs, I have the most supportive family and friends, I have a job and a roof over my head and last but not least, I have my baby girls (Lily, Lady, and Midgey). I am happy and working on myself to continue that happiness.
